3.3 Withdrawing Consent

- Payment details (processed securely through PCI-compliant third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers).

5.1 Use and Disclosure

- Customer support records (including health/allergy claims): 3 years from date of resolution.

- Website analytics data: Up to 26 months in aggregate/anonymised form.
Upon expiry of the retention period, personal information is securely destroyed, erased, or rendered anonymous.

- Marketing Cookies: Used to deliver relevant content and measure campaign performance, only where consent has been obtained.

11. Marketing Communications (CASL)
We comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We will only send commercial electronic messages (CEMs) to you if you have provided express or implied consent. Every marketing communication includes a clear and easy mechanism to unsubscribe.
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any email or by contacting us at sales@veetorascents.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications related to your orders.
12. Quebec Residents — Law 25
If you are a resident of Quebec, you have additional rights under Quebec’s Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25 / Bill 64), including:
- The right to data portability — to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
- The right to be informed of any automated decision-making that significantly affects you.
- The right to request anonymisation of your data in lieu of deletion in certain circumstances.

13. Children’s Privacy
Our products and services are not directed at individuals under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable Canadian law. The updated policy will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Where changes are material, we will notify affected customers by email. Continued use of our services following notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
